A lifelong Brighton resident, John Conely’s family settled in Brighton Township in the 1800’s. Graduating from Brighton High School in 1980, Mr. Conely received an Associate’s Degree from OCC, is a certified ASE Master Tech, and has been a State Certified Master Automobile Tech for the past thirty-one years. He is the owner/operator and CEO/CFO of successful local automobile-related businesses. Mr. Conely served as a special education paraprofessional at BHS and a coach of Science Olympiad for SMS, BHS, St. Pats and Mercy High School for nine years. He was appointed Liaison to Hawkins Elementary School and Senior Center. He and his wife Jenny have three children: Sean (BHS Class of 2009), Katie-Mercy (BHS Class of 2010), and Anne (Mercy High School Class of 2013).
