• News and Events:.

    -Juniors and Seniors!  This week we have Spring Arbor, Calvin, Alma, Valparaiso, U of M, and the University of Dayton!  Sign up in counseling if you would like to attend one of their presentations!!!!
     
    -Homecoming guest applications are available now in the Main Office. Guest applications are DUE in the Main Office by Wednesday October 11th.
     
    -There will be a girls' lacrosse meeting at 2:45pm today in Room B22. 
     
    -Students - if you want to talk with your counselor, you can now make an appointment!!  If it's an urgent matter, a counselor will help immediately, but for other questions or concerns, please use the appropriate link to schedule an appointment (links also available on BHS's counseling website).  Remember to use the email confirmation as your pass to show your teacher to be excused to come to counseling!

    -Ping pong club is now Wednesdays after school in the basement from 2:30-3:30. Bring your own paddles if you can!

    -Are you interested in Welding, Robotics, Automation, CNC Machining, or Industrial Electronics? Washtenaw Community College is having a Manufacturing Day on October 6th where you can learn more about these careers. If you want to go with us, sign up in counseling now.  

    -Students interested in creating a student newspaper for BHS should stop by room F-10 at 2:30 for an informational meeting on 9/27.

    -The first ‘23-‘24 UNICEF meeting is this Wednesday after school in Mr. Rioux’s room, C3. BHS UNICEF Club works to have fun while providing support to underprivileged children locally and worldwide. Please join us!

    -Are you interested in meeting new people while doing something that is good for both your body and mind? If so, consider joining Pound the Pavement, a non-competitive walking club. We plan to meet for one hour on Tuesdays after school in Mrs. Wegener's room, D28, starting October 3rd. Wear or bring comfortable shoes. Grab a friend and get moving.

    -Interested in playing Euchre? Come to D-9 on Thursday at 2:30.

    -Fiber Arts Club meets on Thursday in D26 from 2:30-3:30.  Come learn to knit, crochet, or embroider--or just come and meet with us to see if you'd like to learn!  We teach!  

    -The High School Bass Fishing Club and Team will be having an informational meeting on Tuesday 10/3.  We will meet from 2:30 until 3:30 in room c-10.  The goal is to share what the club is about, meet other students that have a passion for fishing and how the competitive program works.

    -Students Against Destructive Decisions: This part of the club is all about keeping students safe and making decisions that are in your and others lives best interest.)
    -Say Something, See Something: This part of the club is if you see anything that concerns any type of safety concerns, please report it to an administrator, counselor, staff member or even another student. Keep our school safe.) 
    -Be Kind Be Well: This part of the club consists of the kindness of the school and how to make it a kinder place to be, also promoting being mentally and physically well. Please join us and help get some events, fun activities and help the school be a welcoming and fun place to be.
