• News and Events:

    -Hey BHS today at the bake sale everything will be a dollar, so come stop by for some great deals! 

    -Homecoming Guest Applications are now available for students to pick up in the Main Office.  The Guest Applications are due back to the Main Office by Wednesday October 5th at 2:30pm.  

    -Next week is National Yearbook Week! Follow the BHS Yearbook @brighton_yearbook to see what we’re up to.

    -The Brighton Bass Club will have an introductory meeting on Tuesday, October 4th. The meeting will be from 2:30 to 3:30 in room C-10. 

    -Philosophy Club will be meeting from 2:30-3:30 in Mr. Matousek's room D54 on Monday, October 10th and will continue to meet every other Monday. Please stop in and join us!

    -The Classic Rock Club will be meeting every Tuesday starting next week from 2:30-3:15 in room…. Come hang out and enjoy some oldies

    -Tutoring before and after school will begin in October. Here is a form to fill out to be tutored. We offer tutoring for all core classes and study sessions for certain subjects. This is based on a request for tutoring slots but is not guaranteed. You will be tutored by qualified seniors and adults. 

    Group Sessions for class subjects are as listed:

    Geometry: October 24

    Biology: October 26

    Pre-Calc- October 27

    Algebra II: October 28

    Chemistry: October 31

    FST: November 1

    These will be based upon preparing students for exams coming soon and will be at the media center after school until 3:30.

    -The Euchre Club will meet again this Thursday in D-9, from 2:30 - 3:30. Our first gathering saw some familiar faces and many new faces. Even  Ms. Baxter, Ms. Lundy and Ms. McCann popped in for a few hands and lots of fun. See you on Thursday.

    -Just a reminder, there will be a meeting on Thursday @ 2:30 pm in the BHS cafe for all returning bowlers and anyone interested in being a part of the Brighton JV and Varsity Boys or Girls bowling programs this winter.

    -Do you play League of Legends? Does the concept of competing in Esports events representing our school interest you? If either of those things apply to you, please come to Mr. Garrison's room at D-24 on Wednesday after school for the first meeting of Brighton High School's new E-Sports team! All experience levels are welcome! Please note you must have access to a computer at home to join the team.
