    News and Events:

    -May 22nd is Senior Decision Day! Counseling will be hosting a celebration in part of the cafeteria with treats and giveaways for seniors. Wear something that demonstrates your next steps after graduation!

    Attention all Juniors and Seniors,If you are planning on bringing a non-BHS student to prom, guest passes are available in the Main Office or Back Office and MUST be turned in by Friday May 24th by 2:30 to the Main Office.

    -The Brighton High School Color Guard will be hosting two clinics for the 2024 Marching Band Season on 5/22 and 5/28 in the BHS Band Room. All 8th-11th graders are welcome to attend and learn how to spin a flag and meet new friends! Auditions will be held on Thursday, 5/30 from 3:30-5:30 in the BHS Band Room. Reach out to the color guard instructor, Lauren Crowder, with any questions at lmatson96@gmail.com.

    -Reminder to all BHS students. Spring sports are entering the MHSAA tournament this coming week. Your Brighton sports pass is not valid for MHSAA tournaments. 
    Tournament tickets are all on Go Fan and start at $7.00 and increase each round of the tournament.

    -Come check out our 2024 Brighton TechnoDogs Robotics Program for all students K-12 on Weds., May 29, from 6 to 8 pm. Students can sign up for the 2024-2025 Brighton Robotics Teams. 

    -Seniors, please fill out the required exit survey that Mrs. Petit sent to your emails as soon as possible.

    -Attention all sophomores and juniors interested in participating in Powderpuff next fall for Pink Week, please attend a quick informational meeting immediately after school on Thursday, May 23 in the cafeteria. This includes future Powderpuff players, coaches, and cheerleaders. 

    -The last day to check out a book from the media center is May 24. Library books are due June 5. You can, however, request a summer book bundle from Mrs. Alfaro if you are a returning student. The books will then be due the first week of school. Please fill out the summer book bundle form on the media center website (bhs-lmc.org) if interested.  

    -Attention to any student who is interested in running for class council! If you missed the meeting to run, please email Mr. Grabowski. For those of you who have the information, please complete the Google Form by this Friday at 3:00. Any questions, please email Mr. G! 

    -Yearbooks are here! They can be picked up during all three lunches in A-15. 

      Seniors -  Monday

      Juniors -Tuesday

      Sophomores - Wednesday

      Freshmen - Thursday 

    If you can’t make it on your day, you can come the next day. 

    -End of Year Medication Pick-Up: Student medication(s) must be picked up by dismissal time on June 12th. Controlled medication(s) must be picked up by a parent/guardian on file.  Any medication not picked up will be discarded.
