Welcome to the Brighton High School Counseling Department! The BHS Counseling Department follows the guidelines as established in the Michigan Comprehensive Guidance & Counseling Program, based on the National Standards for School Counseling Programs of the American School Counselor Association. We oversee the delivery of the services of the school offered to address academic development, personal/social development, and career development. The help of all staff, parents, and the community is necessary to make this program a success. The district also serves as a major source of support to the counseling department, and our social-emotional supporting materials can be found on the district site here.Counselors are assigned students by grade level.
