#18 Concept: Lesson 18 – Slinky Vowels (ou, ow)
Our Concept Story: A Slinky Vowel Team spelling is a vowel team that has neither a short vowel nor a long sound. The sound /ow/ can be spelled with ou at the beginning or middle of words or with ow at the end of words and before a single l or n.
*The word bow has two pronunciations. For the purpose of this lesson always read it as /b/ /ow/ (as in the verb or front of the ship.
