• News and Events:

    -Attention seniors!  Did you complete your FAFSA?  Have you been accepted to a post-secondary institution (college, trade school, apprenticeship)?  If so, you are eligible to apply for a $500 FAFSA Scholarship. We will be awarding 10 scholarships!  Stop by counseling to pick up the application.  All applications with proof of FAFSA completion and acceptance to a post-secondary institution are due in counseling by 2pm on May 10th!  If you have questions, stop by counseling! 

    -We have a Trades event coming to BHS during Advisory on Wednesday, April 24th. What are the Trades? Construction trades, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc. If you are interested in attending, you must sign up by filling out the Google Form that Mrs. Richards sent to your email. We are ordering pizza and raffling off Carhartt hats as giveaways. We hope you take advantage of this opportunity!

    -Seniors, if you need assistance looking over financial aid offer letters from colleges, or doing any planning for life after graduation, schedule an appointment with Ms. Farina.

    -Don't forget that tomorrow is LIP DUB DAY! Come to school in BHS spirit wear! Wear ORANGE and BLACK or represent your club or team! Talk to your club or team leaders to find out where to stand along the route and what you need to do. If you aren't in a club or sport, you can still find a spot along the route to fill in gaps. Smile, be spirited, but remember you cannot get in the way of the camera crew. Let's make this year's lip dub the best ever! 

    -Don’t forget the Staff vs. Student basketball game happening Wednesday at 7:30pm in the Field House. $5 gets you in the door, and with the price of admission, you get a chance to win one of TWO half- off prom tickets! Who will win?  Can the staff make a comeback or will the students continue where they left off? Come and witness the excellence on the court!

    -Hey seniors: Are you interested in singing a song at graduation? Song tryouts will be April 23rd, at 7am and 2:30pm in the Choir room.

    -If you are interested in applying for the Madison Wegener Memorial Scholarship, please see the link below. Up to three $1,000 individual scholarships will be awarded to this year's BHS seniors. These are not based upon financial need, nor are they solely based on academics. Students who have faced adversity or a challenge are encouraged to apply. Applications are due by May 3rd.     -Come out and support the arts! The Brighton District Library is currently exhibiting 7th - 12th grade Brighton student artwork! You can see the exhibit during normal library hours now until the 26th of April.
